‘Hillside Sheffield Pink’ doing what it does best

My name is Maria Clemente , and I live in northerly New Jersey . Working in the garden purpose industriousness for over 20 long time has inspired me to create several garden domain around my own property . While I try on to design garden that display beauty in every season , I am always surprised at how the fall garden seems to be my favorite .

‘ Hillside Sheffield Pink ’ mum takes center stagecoach in the decline garden . Behind it is the tallAstertataricus‘Jindai ’ ( Zones 3–9 ) with purple flower and a oakleaf hydrangea ( Hydrangeaquercifolia‘Ruby Slippers ’ , Zones 5–9 ) with beautiful fall coloration .

Here ’s another view of the same planting , seen through a spray ofCalamagrostis×acutiflora‘Karl Foerster ’ ( Zones 5–9 ) . The soft garden pink of the mama is such a outstanding line to the brown and tan colors that reign in the fall .
