Without a railing to interfere with the view, the deck feels like it flows seamlessly into the garden.The large pond and deck make this small backyard feel expansive and serene, filled with sensory details that bring an element of delight.
Natural cedar fencing around the pond serves a couple of practical purposes.Water features, even those that are just a few feet deep, must be fenced for safety. But the subtle screening that the fencing provides also helps to make the garden feel comfortably enclosed and set apart from the outside world.
