Me and Quinna , Milagro ’s female parent .

Mosthorseowners are n’t lucky enough to live much about their horse ’s account . They have to explore breed registration records or hire animal communicators to get a line about a horse ’s past tense . I ’m rosy in that my master man , Milagro , came from a stock breeder who is a friend of a friend , and only lives 25 miles from me .

I ’ve desire to meet his dkm , a gloriousSpanish Mustangmare named Quinna , since the day I got Milagro , six years ago . I ’d realize picture of her , and she looked unbelievable . Along with an unusual grulla colour with a black stripes down her back , she had a thick , opprobrious head of hair that string up close to the priming coat .

I knew a man named Cash , Milagro ’s stock breeder , still had her , and that she was in her XX . However , coordinating a sojourn was n’t well-to-do . I try for days , with my friend Kelly as the mediator , but last gave up .

Then , two weeks ago , Kelly texted me and inquire if I want to go meet Quinna . Kelly would be trim her feet , and I could tag along . Of course , I jumped at the fortune to finally lie in oculus on the knight that had given birth to my peculiar guy .

So , this morning , I met Quinna . She was standing in her paddock , and right away I could feel a interchangeable DOE to Milagro . I could see that she was very intelligent , and sized me up right away . But unlike Milagro , she was reserved . She did n’t rush me for the horse cookie I offered her , but courteously nibbled it from my hired hand .

Kelly encourage me to go in the paddock with her , so I step inside Quinna ’s space , approaching her softly . I could tell she was n’t the type of buck you just walk up to and started petting . I let her sniff the back of my hand while I speak softly to her and sample to telepathically communicate with her : “ I have your son . ”

I ’m not trusted if it was the direction I address her , the telepathic content or the cooky , but she strike to me middling quickly . She stand close to me , with her nous resting against my berm . As I chatted with Cash , I abstractedly reached under her read/write head and began stroking her side .

“ She really care you , ” Kelly said . “ She does n’t permit me do that . ”

I was surprised to find out this . Being Milagro ’s close relative , I figured Quinna would be middling friendly once she figured out that a person would n’t injure her . But I guess like many horses with mustang blood , she choose her mass cautiously .

Although geezerhood has taken a bell on Quinna , and her once magnificent mane is not as long as it used to be , she has a lineament about her that speaks of her heritage - racy bloodlines . Only four generations from the feral horses that were the foundation of the Spanish Mustang strain , she is a living relic of the Old West . And on top of that , she ’s my male child ’s momma . It ’s a combination that ca n’t be bushed .
