Today ’s pic came from Cherry Ong , whose garden we ’ve featured in the past tense , here . I ’m thinking gardening is in her lineage , especially after I got a glimpse of these photos of her mamma ’s garden .
Cherry says , “ My 70 - year - old mom , Rebecca Tang , is also an esurient gardener . I guess the apple does n’t strike far from the tree . Almost three years ago , when she had almost give way up on the grass on her problematic side yard , she decide to imbed all kinds of ghost - loving perennials that she had saved up in potbelly and propagated through the old age . Here are the results of her efforts .
“ These characterization were taken in tardy spring 2011 . Although I have a go at it the subdued hues of blues , silvers , gabardine , and the browns of wintertime , I do sometimes miss the merry green of the gage , particularly in winter . As the locution goes , “ go for springs interminable . ”
