Flower Patch is a Hot Mess!
Today we are blend in for a realism check . I know you see tasteful and tidy up whenever you go far to bring down but to be real I will show you what is up around here . Last May … .. yes 5 months ago I got started painting the inside of myStudio Cottage . My husband chipped in and did the picture after attend how it was arduous for me ( give me decorative picture any day but painting walls is not my forte ’ ) It is so boooooring!My studio needed good light and the white sure as shooting achieves that . More light will be key to producing good painting tutorial video this wintertime . As well as snap undertaking . After the wall were painted the residuum was up to me . But I have been buried in so much all summer that the in reality putting things back into place has not occurred . So that has been my focal point for the most part this week . That multi colored lusus naturae in the corner is a beautiful armoire , I use it for storage . I ordered key to repaint it this week . This things holds a ton of stuff , but it is rather bulky so I debated removing it from the studio cottage entirely . I am not sure what I would do for storage so I am not settled on what is it ’s fate . One affair is for sure , it is getting a fresh pelage of rouge . Right now it is shoved into the corner in front of a window with stencil and canvas ’ tossed on top . I have been going through my stencil and should sell off a clump I am no longer interested in using . The trouble is photographing and itemization is so clip consuming , so that is on a back burner , so I may move them to a ledge in our basement to store for now . you may see how the painting of the interior has really lightened up the place . The little shelving unit to the left on the painting workbench is what I am building right now to obtain my bottles of craft acrylics . It will give ear on the paries between the windows . topnotch simple to build and it will be nice to have my paints easily organized . I ca n’t hold back to get it hung and filled . The long blue board in the photo of the studio apartment interior is merely the reverse of theFall Welcomesign I mail about .. The setback is going to have a fun wintertime theme . suppose Snowman!While I have been work on the shelf I also have been building a new terrace to do a post on . I get a fate of hit on the DIYVictorian Farmhouse bench postand think we needed another design to mix it up a bit . come soon is this trivial cutie … here is it in its menial desolation . I am not certain what color to paint it yet . The garden is winding down but I am still working furiously in my Secret Garden . I am seed , transplanting and prepping for next Spring . preparation ahead is central to a full lush garden in Spring time . My DIYgarden arborhas been a smasher and I just finished laying my pavers for the itinerary to the centerfield seating area of the garden . I have been institute different Sedums along the edge so next Spring they should fill out and be a pretty , hardy crushed growing border . The Secret Garden is a piece of work in progress but I go for to divvy up a mythological , flower filled wonderland next Summer . I will also contain veg in this garden . Veggies are beautiful too!Last but not least I have been working in the greenhouse , I am assay to make topiary from Lavender and Rosemary . We are basically just getting started but here is the origin . These are a couple of Lavender cuttings I rootle from a large lilac-colored plant life I have . They are rather humble bet justly now . It is a dense process but I am certain they will be endearing . And that is basically what has filled my time this calendar week .
